Digital media literacy awareness and training

Digital Media Literacy

The week of November 22 to 27 is 'Digital Media Literacy' week. We will be offering the following education and entertainment events:

·       November 23: Internet Safety and Security presentation (resources supplies by The Alberta Library and Media Awareness Network). Location: Community organizations

·       November 24, 7 p.m.: Screening of Prairie Tales and a presentation by film maker Trevor Anderson. Location: Wetaskiwin Public Library

·       November 25: Website evaluation presentation (resources supplies by The Alberta Library and Media Awareness Network) Location: Community organizations

·       November 27, 12-5 p.m.: Cameraless animation workshop by film maker Caitlind Brown. Location: Wetaskiwin Public Library

John Barton is our CAP intern and he will be offering music and skateboard cybercamps.

His working hours are: 10 am-6 pm: Mondays to Thursdays and 10 am-5 pm on Fridays.
